Jorge Proaño is an Ecuadorian designer, consultant and educator based in New York City. His work explores the influence of the network on the customs of individuals and society.

He believes that by building upon the existing infrastructures of our networked society states, brands and individuals can create wealth and at the same time promote cultural empowerment, critical thinking and self reflection.

His work has been awarded and showcased at the Cannes Lions Awards, the NYC Media Lab summit, South by South West and publications like Time magazine, Wired, Quartz and the BBC.

Jorge holds a masters degree in Design and Technology from Parsons, The New School for Design and is always looking for contribute to education and academia.
