What is Saint Violentine?
Saint Violentine is a fictitious celebration that happens every February 13th and seeks to highlight the absurd omnipresence of violence, hate and intolerance in human life at every level, from interpersonal relationships to global international affairs. The name Saint Violentine and its date are an intentional parody of St. Valentine´s Day.

This image was created using the photographs of the last 24 hours of google news and flickr. From the almost 35000 photographs obtained, 10000 were used to create this mosaic.
The information flow showed that almost the 80% of the images in some way its related to the “Violence”

In a purely mechanical sense, drawing –just as painting- isn’t more than the conscious action of capturing the artist’s movement through a specific device designed for that purpose – in our case, paper and pencil-. Therefore we could say that there are billions of lost drawings in the time-space continuum. Drawings that were perceived and unconsciously stored at some point in our brain.
